The JFS Vocational Training program supports personal skills growth with three different learning opportunities. On Monday, Dec. 18, we were honored to celebrate the graduation of the most recent Foundations of Digital Literacy class and share the successful completion of the course with participants.
JFS celebrates National Apprenticeship Week
JFS is nearly one year into its Registered Apprenticeship Program, which began with two full-time, paid apprentices. Apprenticeship programs are instrumental in helping employers recruit and develop a skilled workforce to support their business.

For one Digital Literacy student she not only learned new skills to support her current job responsibilities, her confidence grew along with her accomplishments.

You’re invited to our Community Resource Fair! Learn about JFS programs and resources, and meet with our community partners, who will provide helpful information to benefit individuals and families. For kids, the JFS Lunchbox Express will offer nutritionally balanced lunches, free books, and backpacks with school supplies.

Our JFS Job Fair was a success with job candidates who practiced their elevator pitches, had headshots taken for LinkedIn, learned about JFS programs and services, signed up for classes, and enjoyed lunch. Most important, however, was the opportunity for job seekers to apply and interview on-site for positions.
