Ways to Volunteer

Ways to Volunteer

Ways to help in response to COVID-19:

Immediate Needs:

Volunteers are still authorized and encouraged to support JFS COVID-19 relief efforts under both Mayor Hancock and Governor Polis executive orders and public health orders related to COVID-19.

  • Weinberg Food Pantry: We are seeking healthy volunteers to help sort food, pack boxes, and distribute boxes. Volunteers must dress appropriately for a warehouse setting and be comfortable lifting cans and boxes. Children ages 12 and over are welcome to volunteer with an adult.
  • Emergency Lunchbox Express: Healthy volunteers are needed to pack and deliver food to several housing developments in "food deserts" to serve children who cannot access school-based lunch sites. Children ages 12 and over are welcome to volunteer with an adult.
