March Featured Program - Boulder

On January 27, JFS Boulder and Balfour Longmont hosted a Holocaust remembrance event. More than 100 residents and staff from Balfour Longmont, Golden West, Balfour Lodge, Fraser Meadows, and The Pearl attended in person or virtually to hear Holocaust survivors Joe Juhasz and Asher Ben Basat share their experiences.  Participants appreciated the experience, and feedback has been positive, including expressing interest in future Jewish history and educational speaker programs.  

In February, we partnered with the Boulder JCC for a Purim hamantaschen bake day! With the help of 14 wonderful volunteers, we made more than 500 hamantaschen cookies, which were delivered to 65 individuals for Purim.
