Employment Cultural Orientation for Refugees and Newcomers

Cultural Orientation is a free virtual workshop available to refugees and newcomers who are ready to start their employment journey in the US. Through this workshop, participants will understand more about expectations and cultural norms in the workplace. Topics include:

  • Job search strategies and interview tips.

  • Employment documents and onboarding.

  • Workplace expectations and your rights.

  • US workplace cultural norms.

Who Should Attend:

  • Refugees and newcomers preparing to or already working in the US.

  • Staff and case managers who support newcomers.

This is a 2-hour workshop that is offered monthly, in English, and interpretation in various languages.
