Vocational Training: Retail Customer Service
JFS is offering a new five-week vocational course for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who are preparing for their first job or re-entering the workforce. Using nationally recognized curriculum from the National Retail Federation (NRF) Foundation, students will develop key workplace skills including:
Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer service and sales fundamentals.
Career exploration and networking.
Basic transactional math.
Class is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. beginning Tuesday, July 8 through Thursday August 7.
