We are excited to introduce Bob S., our November Volunteer of the Month. Bob’s dedication and teamwork truly make at JFS Altius Farms and The Weinberg Food Pantry. His dedication and commitment have made a meaningful impact – not only through his hands-on support at JFS Altius Farms but also in the way he embodies the spirit of JFS’s mission to nourish and strengthen our community.

Whether you’re looking to build your community or caring for aging parents, participating in a group connection or support group brings people together who are going through similar experiences. You don’t have to face challenges alone, and we’re excited to facilitate two groups for you to find emotional support, resources, and be among people who understand what you’re going through. 

Transitioning back into the community after incarceration is full of difficulties. For Anthony, overcoming challenges, such as learning technology and finding employment in a world vastly different from the one when he entered custody, included participating in our Foundations of Digital Literacy course. 

With so much news and confusion surrounding recent developments, we're here to help clarify how the tax law changes from the new tax-and-spending bill often referred to as OBBBA could impact your charitable giving in 2026.

Not a day goes by without our JFS volunteers making a difference throughout the Boulder area. Their impact is especially significant during times such as the High Holidays. During this time, our older adult neighbors may need a reminder that being a part of a community means people come together to show they care, whether it’s by offering holiday services or receiving sweet treats.

Whether you decide to donate a Thanksgiving meal, attend our Faces of JFS event, or give to our year-end appeal, you have the power to make our community stronger. 

JFS hosted a three-day career development program designed to connect refugee and immigrant women with opportunities for meaningful employment through individual support, panels, discussion groups, and workshops. Our first New American Women Empowerment Employment event provided practical career guidance and peer support, helping participants build confidence and community.

JFS invites the community to the 2025 Faces of JFS event on Wednesday, November 12, at the Infinity Park Event Center in Glendale. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour for mingling, a creatively curated dinner, and a short, informative program highlighting the powerful impact JFS makes throughout the community.
