January Volunteer of the Month

Michael R., January Volunteer of the Month.

Michael R., January Volunteer of the Month.

We are excited to introduce Michael R., our January Volunteer of the Month. Michael volunteers for the JFS Community Table Lunch program, helping to enrich the social and emotional well-being of older adults by providing lunch and social engagement.

Staff member Mollie shared:

“Michael is a rock for the Community Table program. He has been a consistent volunteer for several years with the Community Table program. He is always communicative when there is a hold-up at Shalom Park and he always shows up smiling and happy to help. Michael is quick to pick up extra shifts when he has the time and always picks up a make-up shift when the program is closed or canceled on his scheduled volunteer day. His consistency and dedication to helping our program makes a world of difference.”
