Boulder Hanukkah Celebrations

This year, our JFS Boulder team celebrated Hanukkah at nine older adult facilities in Boulder County. We had more than 100 residents and facility staff attend our Hanukkah celebrations, with the help of five volunteers, five para-chaplains, two local rabbis, and three of our staff members. Eleven B’Nai Mitzvah students of Congregation Bonai Shalom joined us and Rabbi Marc Soloway in celebrating with Golden West residents. We find it very beneficial for older adult residents and teens when they socialize, eat, and play games together.
