Donations for Dignity Initiative Provides Women and Children with Essential Needs
Jewish Family Service of Colorado (JFS) is partnering with ABBY&FINN +TOP the organic project for a virtual diaper and feminine hygiene drive, Donations for Dignity, during the High Holidays in September. JFS provides more than 6,000 diapers, wipes, and feminine hygiene products to individuals and families every month through the Weinberg Food Pantry.
Currently, 1 in 4 girls misses school because they don’t have access to feminine hygiene products, and 1 in 3 families find themselves without diapers.
Lacking diapers, wipes, and feminine hygiene products, cements women and children to go without opportunities in education, work, and life. Donations for Dignity was created to remove these barriers. As we reflect on the past year moving into the Jewish High Holidays, let us ensure we all have access to the very basics, as we welcome 5782 together.
