Bright Holidays donation program

We hope you will join this year’s Bright Holidays program, to bring light and joy to those we serve. There are multiple ways to participate; you can sponsor an individual or family’s wish list, donate gift cards, or make a monetary donation to the program

Bright Holidays

Secret Shopper Toy Drive

This program is for clients with children from newborn to 12 years old. Clients will register for the program and request toys from a list we provide. Donors can shop online through a Target or Amazon wish list or purchase items in a store. Gifts on these lists are examples and do not have to be exact. Gifts should be new and unwrapped.

Gift Cards and Monetary Donations

Of course, we always appreciate cash donations! You can donate cash or gift cards to the program if you prefer. We are especially looking for gift cards for teenage clients (13-18 years old) for movies, restaurants, or big-box stores.

Adopt-a-Family/Adopt-an-Older Adult

Our staff refers JFS clients to this program, where they are matched with generous donors like you, who purchase gifts from detailed wish lists. When choosing a family, please keep in mind that JFS typically recommends a commitment of approximately $100 per person in the household. All the families have been adopted!

Gift Drop Off Times

We have set up designated times to drop off gifts to eliminate congestion during food pantry hours. Please only drop off gifts Monday through Thursday, 1:00–3:30 p.m. New unwrapped gifts must be received by Friday, December 9 at the latest, to ensure they can be distributed to families in need.

Please contact brightholidays@jewishfamilyservice.org with questions.
