Guest Presenter
Empower job seekers by sharing valuable insights and expertise during employment training classes and workshops. This position helps clients gain the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate today’s complex job market. As a guest presenter, you will provide essential information that enhances the career development of individuals striving to achieve their professional goals.
Commitment: 1- 6 hours per month. Daytime and evening hours available. Specific dates will be shared typically on Thursdays.
Additional Requirements: Brief interview with career services manager, background check. Ages 18 and older.
Job Fair Support
Join the JFS Career Services team in hosting a bi-annual job fair. The areas of support include: providing interpretation services in languages such as French, Arabic, Swahili, Dari/Pashto, Kinyarwanda, and Russian; offering transportation to drive jobseekers to and from the event; and greeting attendees by warmly welcoming them, directing them to the sign-in table, handing out welcome items, and assisting limited English speakers in finding the appropriate interpreter or interpretation services.
Commitment: Special one-time opportunities occur throughout the year, typically twice a year.
