Boulder Needs
Friendly Visitors who can go to Broomfield and Longmont
If you’re in the Broomfield area and love dogs and like to visit art museums and antique shops, there’s a lovely almost 90-year-old woman who was an interior designer and artist who would like to meet.
A very sweet married couple living in Longmont who don’t drive and are both in need of their own visitors. The wife loves walking her dogs, going out for coffee, fabrics and crafts, but is not a fan of political talk. Her husband enjoys crystals, very intricate drawings, and visitors to the house.
A Boulder gentleman in his early 90s with interests in veterans/military issues, metaphysics, spirituality, and sharing stories would benefit from one of our Friendly Visitors.
A Louisville woman enjoys walks, talking about politics, history, all things Jewish, children, dogs, and she’s a New Yorker who likes a sarcastic sense of humor.
A South Boulder woman who doesn’t drive, is a writer, poet, enjoys seeing films at the library, walking, and getting tea.
Community Food Share Delivery Drivers Needed
Our partnership with Community Food Share continues to make a meaningful impact by delivering food directly to local households in need. Each month, volunteers help distribute food to approximately 45 homes, and we are looking for nine volunteers to assist with deliveries.
Deliveries take place on the second Tuesday of each month, making this a great recurring volunteer opportunity for those who enjoy serving the community and helping neighbors access nutritious food.
Please help us spread the word! Share these opportunities with friends, family, or on social media.
