In this class you’ll gain important knowledge about making the best choices and questions to ask to get there. Getting Ahead in a Just-Gettin’-by-World

"Getting Ahead in a Just-Gettin’-by-World" is an innovative workshop series that helps individuals and families at-risk for homelessness identify the underlying causes of poverty, increase financial literacy, and design a personalized action plan for escaping poverty and achieving long-term self-sufficiency.

Bootstraps Asset-Building Education Series

"Bootstraps" is a free financial education series. Courses are two hours each for four sessions and help participants learn how to build financial and employment stability even with limited resources. The curriculum for this program was developed by the Financial Health Institute. JFS offers this series two to three times per year.
