This innovative 12-week course helps individuals and families at-risk for homelessness identify the underlying causes of poverty, increase financial literacy, and design a personalized action plan for escaping poverty and achieving long-term self-sufficiency. The next series will be held every Thursday, 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. March, April, and May beginning March 7, 2019. Space is limited, so sign up early. This series is offered at NO COST, a light lunch will be provided each day, and gift cards will be provided at the end of each session.

Bootstraps Asset-Building Education Series

"Bootstraps" is a free financial education series. Courses are two hours each for four sessions and help participants learn how to build financial and employment stability even with limited resources. The curriculum for this program was developed by the Financial Health Institute. JFS offers this series two to three times per year.
