Senior Home Care Assistance & Elder Services in Denver, CO

Jewish Family Service of Denver offers several home-based senior care services and support programs to help older adults live as independently as possible for as long as possible. At Jewish Family Service of Denver, we understand that there isn't much that is more important to older adults than their independence. Our goal is to keep our Denver clients happy, and one of the ways that we do that is by providing home care assistance. We want to provide our community’s elders with the senior home care assistance that they need to live their lives to their fullest potential.

Senior Home Care Services in Denver

Jewish Family Service of Denver's home care assistance program extends the services of our homemakers, who will visit individuals every other week. They check in and provide light housekeeping, shopping, cooking, and errands. Our professional staff of homemakers is responsible, considerate, and carefully screened. These home care assistance services are available on a sliding-fee scale thanks to our generous donors. Limited senior services are available at no cost thanks to funding from the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG). Providing help for seniors is important to us, and we would be more than happy to provide you with the elder care services that you need.

We would be honored to provide help for any seniors in need that you may know. If you are interested in our homemaker senior services that we provide to Denver, please contact:

For two hours every two weeks, a Jewish Family Service of Denver homemaker will provide clients with general housekeeping, light meal preparation, grocery shopping, linen changing, and laundry assistance. A Kosher Meals on Wheels Senior Care Program in Denver

One of the ways that Jewish Family Service of Denver provides help for the seniors of our community is by delivering hot and or frozen meals to homebound older adults five days per week through its Kosher Meals on Wheels (KMOW) program. To receive these senior care services, an individual must be at least 60 years of age, assessed as homebound, and be Jewish or have a spiritual need to receive kosher meals. The senior home care program not only provides nutritional help but reduces the stress of family members, as they know their loved ones are getting a meal every weekday. This senior care program is a collaboration of Volunteers of America (VOA), Jewish Family Service (JFS), and JEWISHcolorado.
