New American Women Empowerment (NAWE) Employment Program
This dynamic three-day career development program for refugee and immigrant women features a series of workshops, panels, and discussion groups designed to provide practical career guidance and peer support.
Led by refugee and immigrant women in the Denver metro community and JFS Career Services staff, this program will help those who wish to develop and grow their careers in the United States. Nawe means "with you" in Swahili, we will be with you throughout your journey.
Attendance is free, thanks to generous funding from DOIRA.

Session and workshop information
Participants are welcome to attend as their schedules allow.
JFS does not offer childcare, but you may bring your children to sit with you during the workshops.
Interpretation will be available throughout the program, and select sessions will be repeated in multiple languages, including Dari and Spanish.
On the last day, participants will have direct access to employers in various industries at a hiring event designed open only for New American women.
Lunch will be provided each day of the program.
