We are looking for a superstar to join our executive management team to lead development, marketing, and communications. We are on a mission to increase funding by 10% this coming fiscal year.

JFS is an established 147-year-old human services organization with a strong reputation for quality, high-impact services that each year benefit nearly 24,000 people of all faiths, races, ages, incomes, and abilities.With annual revenue of $12 million, JFS works to reduce hunger and prevent homelessness, provides quality mental health services to children and families, offers job training and placement for people with barriers to employment, and provides support to help older adults maintain a high quality of life.

We are seeking someone to develop strategies and campaigns for fundraising objectives and who can enthusiastically engage funders to help achieve our goals. A proven organized fundraiser with a history of raising a lot of money and shows concern for people and the community.

We have an amazing and committed network of supporters and are seeking a super-pro to help us realize even greater financial potential – meaning someone to create and execute a thoughtful plan and manage a team to hit targets. An exciting challenge will be to seek support of new prospects, foundations, and corporate funding sources while maintaining and building stronger relationships with current and past donors. Will work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and the team to reach the targeted fundraising goals.Will set and execute a fundraising strategy to achieve ambitious goals for increasing revenue raised each year.

Minimum of ten years’ experience in fundraising with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Local fundraising experience, helpful. Strategic thinker in linking fundraising, marketing, and communications. High achiever, very organized with consistent follow through, and driven to achieve targets for impact. Develop a strategy utilizing data that aids in identifying meaningful funding streams. Able to measure and communicate fundraising successes and disappointments. Decisive on where to focus to create highest return on investment. Have led teams to success by nurturing and promoting their strengths.
