Strengthening older adult services: New participants welcome
As part of Aging Care & Connections (ACC), we offer programs that enrich the overall health of older adults by providing wellness, lunch, and social engagement opportunities. We’re highlighting two programs that currently have availability for new participants.
Homebound older adults receive healthy, well-balanced meals delivered right to their doorsteps through our Kosher Meals on Wheels and food box delivery programs. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday and consist of at least one-third of the recommended daily nutrients for older adults. The program not only provides balanced meals but also reduces the stress of family members who know their loved ones are getting a high-quality kosher meal every weekday.

Adults over 60 can gather, catch up, stay active, celebrate holidays year-round, and make friends while enjoying hot kosher-style meal at our Community Table Lunch program at the JCC Denver. The menu changes daily, and all faiths are welcome to join. Participants can attend events hosted by the JCC, such as Schmooze & Games. Find out more and make connections over lunch!
Our Kosher Meals on Wheels and Community Table Lunch programs are about so much more than food; they also reduce social isolation and enhance lives throughout our community.
