Holocaust Remembrance Day thanks

On January 27, JFS Boulder and Balfour Longmont hosted a Holocaust remembrance event. More than 100 residents and staff from Balfour Longmont, Golden West, Balfour Lodge, Fraser Meadows, and The Pearl attended in person or virtually to hear Holocaust survivors Joe Juhasz and Asher Ben Basat share their experiences.  

Participants appreciated the experience, and feedback has been positive, including expressing interest in future Jewish history and educational speaker programs. 

“I am so thankful for my JFS Boulder family stepping up and making it possible to reach so many older adults in our community,” shared JFS Boulder Volunteer and Programs Services Manager Nicole Hosack. “We all spread out at different facilities to make this happen.” We thank everyone who participated and made the event memorable for all.
