Free Smart Strategies Workshop for 50+ Jobseekers August 29

Jewish Family Service of Colorado (JFS) will host a two-hour workshop for 50+ jobseekers on Thursday, August 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. It is free to attend and open to mature jobseekers 50 years and older seeking new or better employment.

Jewish Family Service is collaborating with AARP Foundation to equip Denver area unemployed and under-employed older adults with the skills and resources to increase their financial stability and overcome existing or future challenges. The BACK TO WORK 50+ program provides valuable training, coaching, and job-seeking skills that older adults need to compete with confidence for today’s in-demand jobs.

Older workers typically experience longer bouts of unemployment than their younger counterparts, and the BACK TO WORK 50+ program provides fresh strategies older jobseekers need to compete for full-time, in-demand jobs with confidence.

Workshop participants can also apply for a free small-group coaching program offering ongoing skills training, job-search guidance, and individualized support. If you are a mature jobseeker looking for a new, insightful approach to showcase your value to employers, join us on August 29.

Seating is limited. To register, call toll-free, 855.850.2525. Be sure to request the Jewish Family Service location.
