FOOD SUPPORT PROGRAMS | JULY 1, 2025 - DECEMBER 31, 2025

From the start of the SNAP benefits pause through the end of December, the Weinberg Food Pantry experienced a 20% increase in client visits, while the Mobile Food & Hygiene Pantry saw a 56% increase in new clients.

Donations received to the emergency SNAP appeal enabled JFS to:

  • Extend hours at the Weinberg Food Pantry, giving families more time to shop and allowing us to serve more households.

  • Purchase additional fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, and protein, helping meet the surge in demand.

  • Distribute King Soopers gift cards so families could buy items not available at our pantries.

  • Provide each Kosher household with a $100 gift card to East Side Kosher to help them through the crisis.

JFS remains committed to addressing food insecurity across metro Denver by providing reliable, accessible, and dignified food assistance to individuals and families in need.
