Celebrating Passover throughout our Boulder community

This year, senior community residents in the Boulder County area welcomed a traditional observance of Passover with both JFS Boulder volunteer para-chaplains and local Rabbi’s leading services and returning to in-person experiences.

Bringing the holiday to isolated older adults in retirement communities or their homes is such a meaningful way to show we care for our Jewish friends. This year, a snapshot of our JFS Boulder celebrations included:

  • Sharing services at six retirement communities by four different rabbis and para-chaplains

  • Providing in-person services with Passover foods for more than 150 people

  • Delivering 100 Kosher-for-Passover meals to homebound older adults and Marshall fire survivors and their families

To all our supporters and dedicated volunteers, we thank you for making Passover special to those who rely on us. We truly appreciate your efforts to make these celebrations so meaningful.

Thank you, Rabbi Marc Soloway, Rabbi Jamie Korngold, Rabbi Deborah Bronstein, Joe Lukasik, Stuart Feinhor, Lynn Nadel, and David Bernstein for bringing such joy to all those able to attend services.  A large shout out to our huge volunteer community who donated foods, attended services, and delivered all those meals!
