HIPAA

Jewish Family Service adheres to HIPAA privacy requirements. HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, is a grouping of regulations that work to combat waste, fraud, and abuse in health care delivery and health insurance.

Donor Privacy Policy

Jewish Family Service of Colorado (JFS) is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors. We have developed this privacy policy to ensure our donors that donor information will not be shared with any third party.

Colorado Homeless Management Information System

Jewish Family Service participates in the Colorado Homeless Management Information System (Colorado HMIS). JFS collects information about clients and their families into this system, which is a requirement of the Denver Homeless Initiative, Denver Department of Human Services.

Whistleblower Protection Policy and Procedures

To provide Jewish Family Service of Colorado (“JFS” or the “Agency”) board members, employees, volunteers and clients with a mechanism for reporting claims of interference in reporting misconduct (defined below) or retaliation subsequent to filing such report.
