Join us for a Family Resource Fair on Friday, July 13, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Jewish Family Service, 3201 South Tamarac Drive in Denver. It is free and open to the public. The following resources will be available so that participants can learn about many community programs in one convenient place. In addition, free kids books and ice cream from Bonnie Brae Ice Cream will be distributed, and Dinger from the Colorado Rockies will make an appearance from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. There will be drawings for prizes, including gift cards from Cold Stone Creamery and Dairy Queen and passes to Denver Zoo, AMC Theatres, and Jump Street Indoor Trampoline Park.   • Jewish Family Service Weinberg Food Pantry: Sign up for access to the food pantry. No appointment necessary. Bring photo ID, proof of address (a lease or utility bill), and verification of income for the entire household.
  • Hunger Free Colorado: Get connected to food resources, including SNAP benefits to help keep your family fed.
  • Share Our Strength/Cooking Matters: Learn how to shop for and cook healthy meals on a budget. There will be a cooking demo and free recipes.
  • DentaQuest: Get access to high-quality, low-cost dental care for you and your family.
  • mpowered Financial Counseling: Learn how to set financial goals and achieve them to improve your quality of life.
  • Energy Resource Center Weatherization Program: Learn how to weatherproof your home and save big on energy bills. Some home improvement services are available at no charge.
  • Denver Preschool Program: Get help finding a quality preschool for your 4-year-old child, regardless of your neighborhood or income. Tuition assistance is available.
  • Clothes to Kids of Denver: Access new and quality used clothing for kids from preschool to 12th grade free of charge.
  • SafeCare Colorado and Savio: Access free parenting resources, including in-home support to help you childproof your home, meet your child’s health needs, and improve parent/child interactions with your young child.
  • JFS KidSuccess: Learn about school-based counseling services for kids from Jewish Family Service.
  • Bright by Three: Access tools and resources to help prepare your infant/toddler for a lifetime of learning. Learn how to talk, read, and play with your child in a way that will help your child succeed.
  • Denver Department of Human Services: Get help signing up for benefits like CCAP, TANF, and SNAP.
  • Rose Andom Center: If you’re a victim of domestic violence, you can access services to improve your life.
