People With Disabilities

JFS offers a variety of disability services including advocacy, social recreation, vocational training, and support services. In addition, we provide quick and easy access to comprehensive information that can help you navigate the systems and network with others.
Community Resources
The Jewish Disabilities Network provides a single-point-of-entry to case management, information and referral, recreational activities, and Jewish cultural and educational opportunities for Jewish individuals with disabilities, and provides associated services to their families.

Employment and Vocational
SHALOM Denver employs and trains people in the untapped workforce including adults with developmental disabilities and people transitioning from welfare to work.

Group Home
Our Group Home is the only kosher group home west of the Mississippi. Through the caring supervision of Jewish Family Service professionals, our eight adult residents reach their full potential while enjoying a Jewish cultural atmosphere and active social lives. Referrals to the JFS Group Home come through Denver Options Inc.

Home Care
Our mission at JFS at Home is to provide practical, reliable, and compassionate caregiver services that allow you and your loved ones to remain at home, enjoying life and independence, even when a person's physical capabilities are compromised. Homecare services for seniors and those living with medical conditions are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Homecare services are private-pay; most long-term care plans are accepted.
