In celebration of Jewish Disabilities Awareness and Inclusion Month, Jewish Disabilities Advocates (JDA) and its supporting agencies are offering several
activities and events that highlight disability awareness and inclusion throughout our community. On February 12, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, JDA clients
and the community will gather for a Tu B'Shevat Seder. Tu B’Shevat is a holiday that celebrates the New Year for trees. This Seder
will highlight the four seasons of the year, the three main types of fruit, and the importance of taking care of the earth that sustains us. Our centerpiece
will be a fruit topiary and participants will experience the delicious wine (grape juice) and variety of fruits that represent the various types of
fruit. For those who would like to parsley plant seeds for Passover, there will be a table set up to paint small terra cotta pots to plant the seeds
in. Suggested donation: $5.
